Ernst C. Stiefel Professor of Comparative Law Ruti G. Teitel spoke at an event on the issue of the Climate Emergency and Closing of Civic Space convened at the London School of Economics. She also spoke on “Human Rights 80 Years on from the Nuremberg Trials” at Boston College Law School and presented on the role of International Courts during conflict during a three-day conference in Oslo, Norway, at the invitation of the Nobel Peace Institute on Confederal Constellations in Israel/Palestine. In addition, she taught a short course on Transitional Justice at the Hebrew University Law Faculty in Jerusalem, presented "The Human Right to Truth and Truth Commissions" at the University of Buffalo Baldy Center for Law and Policy Workshop, and was a panelist in a webinar titled “Transitional Justice for Israel-Palestine in Comparative Perspective” hosted by Hebrew University’s Clinical Legal Education Center and the University of Haifa's Minerva Center for the Rule of Law under Extreme Conditions.
