On April 21, NYLS’s Impact Center for Public Interest Law hosted an address by New York City Mayoral Candidate Maya Wiley. Titled “Managing Change in New York City,” the event drew over 100 attendees.

After Ms. Wiley delivered her remarks, which set forth 14 points of her leadership and management philosophy, she answered questions from four NYLS students. The questions focused on equity in public health responses, expanding access to affordable housing, reforming policing while preserving safe communities, and addressing the rise in violence against the Asian American community.

On April 14, NYLS hosted interviews with Mayoral candidates Eric Adams and Kathryn Garcia as part of the School’s Law and Leadership series.
